Word has it that not everyone will be seeing 'Captain America: The First Avenger', just not in the way you might at first think.
Paramount and Marvel (showing canny global awareness) gave international territories the option of which title they could use. They could use the original US title, 'Captain America: The First Avenger'. Or, the considerably less nationalist sounding (for some) 'The First Avenger'.
It's been reported that Russia, Ukraine and South Korea have so far taken up that offer. It's not clear if other countries will follow suit. An interesting tidbit I didn't know has come to light along with this news; China only screens 20 foreign films per year. 20! So will Cap's movie make it onto Chinese screens at all I wonder? Only time will tell.
'Captain America: The First Avenger' is due for release from the 22nd of July 2011.
