Foster
Brian Buccellato is working on a new creator-owned graphic novel called Foster. OSSM Comics will release Foster on July 2 2014. Foster is about veteran who becomes the guardian of a six-year-old boy hunted by weird creatures in the late 1960s. Noel Tuazon is the artist on the project. Originally, Dog Tear Entertainment published the graphic novel as a six-issue mini-series. The publisher never released the last issue.
Suicide 5
Jason Pell and Ryan Howe are working on a new graphic novel called Suicide 5. In suicide 5, five friends compete with one another to decide which one will commit the best suicide. Mason, one of their pal films each each suicide for YouTube by one of their pal. Let’s just hope that this is one comic book that will stay in the fictional realm. Pell and Howe are seeking financing for their dark comedy on KickStarter.

Kitty Kat
Long time animator and cartoonist André St-Amour has begun a new weekly Web comic called Kitty Kat. It’s about a damsel in distress set in the Jazz Age. Fans of cartoon art deco and cubism will enjoy St-Amour’s designs in this series.

Transformers: Age of Extinction
Paramount has released a new poster of the upcoming Transformers: Age of Extinction. The new Transformers movie hits the theatres on Jun e 27, 2014. The fourth movie in the series, it features a new human cast consisting of Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Li Bingbing , Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, T. J. Miller, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor and Titus Welliver. Here is the new trailer released by Paramount yesterday.

The Southern Sykos, a new studio by filmmakers Chad Clinton Freeman and Jack Hunter released a teaser poster of its upcoming horror-crime anthology Paranoia Tapes. Paranoia Tapes also features involvement from filmmakers Amy Hesketh (Barbazul), Douglas Farra (Vitamin Z), Craig McIntyre (L.A.
