Batman Incorporated #3 delayed due to subject matter

Batman Incorporated (Vol. II) #3, due to arrive in comic stores this Wednesday, has been delayed a month. Sensing that the delay could easily be misconstrued as being affected by print delays, the book's artist Chris Burnham told Twitter followers that the delay was in fact due to the recent tragedy in Aurora. Burnham wrote:

"Batman Inc #3 is going to be delayed a month due to some grim imagery that would seem wholly inappropriate given the Aurora killings.

"The book printed on time. I'm looking at a copy on my desk right now. This isn't a scheduling excuse, we're trying to do the right thing."

The issue will be the first of DC's New 52 publication initiative to see a delay.
