Washington DC has been sealed under an impenetrable dome and the DC heroes are going to have to find a way to get through that dome before the remaining humans inside are massacred by the invading Amazons. There is a worthwhile story here but it is buried under all these subplots such as this bizarre attempt to recruit Grace, the bisexual Thundra-clone of the Outsiders and this llllooooonnngg story of the Amazon-offshoot tribe, called the Banas, who are still seeking revenge for poorly-defined reasons. Frankly, the only highlight of this story is the sight of the DC heroes finally moving in to take on the Amazons in an all-out fight. The art remains a disadvantage as it makes the characters look stiff and fails to capture the scope and the drama of a conflict. Even the big battle scene at the end, looks like a bunch of scratches rather than a "Lord of the Rings"-like confrontation. Woods' style may be more suited to more intimate type of story like a crime mystery or a personal drama. A generous two out of five stars.
